RFID labels built for performance, backed by expertise.

RFID Label Technology
Intelligence built into every label
RFID labels work by embedding a miniature integrated circuit and antenna directly into a printable label face stock. An RFID reader can capture data from multiple tags instantly and simultaneously — no line-of-sight scanning required. This dramatically accelerates inventory counts, reduces human error, and gives operations teams a real-time view of every product and asset in the chain.
Each label also carries the EPC (Electronic Product Code) designation — the industry standard that signals RFID compliance to consumers and trading partners alike.

integrated or standalone
Fortis offers RFID as a fully integrated solution embedded within your existing pressure-sensitive label, or as a standalone RFID label applied separately. We work with you to select the right inlay, adhesive, and face stock combination for your specific application.
configured for you
Applying RFID labels requires more than a standard label applicator. The chip on the inlay is sensitive, and placement matters for optimal read rates. Fortis supplies application equipment specifically configured to place the RFID label in the correct tagging location on your product — every time, without damaging the inlay.

Standalone RFID Labels
When RFID needs to live apart from your primary label, Fortis supplies standalone inlays in sizes closely matched to industry-standard formats, compatible with most existing application equipment and tagging workflows.
